Well hello there! My name is Jen Shaw. I’m a mum to 7 crazy kids (8 if we include my fussy husband). I'm going to be your mentor, friend and source of inspiration for the duration of the e-course. Myself, my guests and my team are here to help you every step of the way in your real food journey.

Here is my beautiful family(minus the fussy husband) we like to live a pretty healthy way of life.
We eat a lot of wholefoods, keep 7 cheeky chickens and try to live as sustainably as we can.
We arent perfect by any means but a diet filled with lots of gorgeous wholefoods is a priority for us.
I remember in the early days, when I first started to think about food and it's connection to our physical and mental health I was SWAMPED with advice, opinions, information and marketing. It was really really tough to try to figure out what was best for us.
We spent a long time eating in line with rules and labels, buying "super foods" and supplementing our diet in a search for the optimal way of eating. We learnt a lot along the way but eventually we settled in for a style of eating that just felt right for us and found that going back to basics, cooking from scratch, being organised, sourcing local food and going with that made sense is what ultimately fits best in our home.
As you can see there is a lot of us and with each arrival of a new little person we have had to get savvier with making the food we love and prioritise practical.
I talk a LOT with other families, and I know that both overwhelm and cost are two HUGE barriers for the everyday family trying to make halthy changes in the home. So I wanted to share with you the way we do things and so I put this course and community together to bring about inspiration, change and support.
